Proof

Proof is the story of Catherine, a troubled young woman, who has spent the previous years caring for her brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician. Now, following his death, she must cope with her own emotions; the arrival of her estranged sister, Claire; and the attentions of Hal, her father's former student. Over the long weekend that follows, a burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook force Catherine to face her most daunting uncertainty: has she inherited only her fathers genius or his madness as well?
