Join the Chinatown Chamber of Commerce on March 7, 2017, at Evergreen Restaurant, to hear from our invited speaker and special guest, David Whitaker, President and CEO of Choose Chicago speak about whats new in Chicago.
David Whitaker is the President and CEO of Choose Chicago, Chicagos Convention & Visitor Bureau. Chicago currently welcomes over 54 million visitors annually. David oversees Chicagos overall Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media and Global Trade Development programs launched domestically and in key international markets to support Chicagos Visitor Industry. Choose Chicago is also responsible for selling and booking over 55 major conventions annually to be held at McCormick Place (North Americas #1 Convention Center).
Prior to joining Choose Chicago, David was Chief Marketing Officer for Brand USA, President and CEO of Tourism Toronto, and Executive Vice President and CMO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau.
