Groundswell - RHINOFEST 2017
In Groundswell , by Karen Fort, rough weather, a lucrative mining offer and an upcoming wedding pressure the people who own or work this farm on a hillside. The human response to learning more about the effects of climate change cause fear of judgment, defensiveness and hurt feelings. Faced with an emergency that forces choices, the characters find a path forward, and the earth abides.
The play is directed by Elyse Dolan, and features Dina Monk, Laurie Lister, Michael Applebaum, David Towne, Nathan Slate and James Shinkle.
