Hoe Down and Pumpkin Patch Party at Oxbow Farm
Oxbow Farm presents a Harvest HoeDown and Pumpkin Party!
An event to please all ages, hay rides, pumpkin carving (leave the mess at the farm!!), and bobbing for apples. Maybe you'll try your hand at climbing the greased pole, or cider pressing. We'll have cooking and canning demos by local food celebs, lots of popcorn popping, a scavenger hunt, fun farm crafts, live music and delicious food trucks to keep you sated!
At noon we will have our traditional and ever popular Pumpkin Parade through the Pumpkin Patch. We'll even have our farm stand open if you want to pick up some of our finest vegetables to take home.
Come join us to celebrate the harvest season, and lots of Fun on the Farm!
$5.00 per person $5.00 per carving pumpkin (other larger pumpkins are for purchase as well, these are specifically for the carving station)
Lunch: You are welcome to either bring a picnic to enjoy in the orchard or buy lunch at the farm. We're excited to announce that several amazing Food Trucks will be joining us!
"How Pickle got out of Jam" will be making their debut at Oxbow and will be bringing soups, hearty salads, pickled veggies, hot biscuits, warm drinks and other delicious fare featuring Oxbow Produce!!
"Rustic PIe" will be serving up wood fired pizzas to order. Regular and Gluten Free Pizzas!! We hear rumor that there might be even be an 'Oxbow Pie' and that they'll be bringing lots of other regular and gluten free goodies!
"Molly Moon" Ice Cream Truck will be dishing up seasonal flavors like Huckleberry Chunk and Pear Sorbet with lots of fall flavored toppings!

WHAT TO EXPECT WHILE AT OXBOW: Just like life on the farm, our even will take place RAIN AND SHINE! Come prepared for any weather and expect to get dirty! We recommend mud boots, rain coat and a sun/rain hat. In case of heavy downpour we do have shelter and tents where we can continue our adventure.
Please remember that you will be visiting a working farm. If you have severe allergies to grass, hay, or bees please come prepared.
PARKING: We have a gravel lot directly to your left upon entrance to the farm.
Picnicking? Please do! We will have lots of tables and areas for snacking or picnicking. You will need to carry in your lunches from the parking lot, and PLEASE pack out all garbage.
DOGS: We love dogs, we have dogs. But dogs don't belong on the farm. Please leave them at home. Thank you.
