Hyde Schools Winter Singer-Songwriter Showcase

Come hear the songs written and performed by participants in Hyde Schools Winter Singer-Songwriter Workshop. This final performance showcase, open and free of charge to the public, is the culmination of a week-long program focused on the craft of lyrical songwriting. The workshop is designed for aspiring musicians interested in perfecting their musical craft in writing, producing, or singing. They receive hands-on training from music professionals who volunteer their time to work as facilitators at the workshop. Throughout the week the students creatively learn ways to come up with lyrics, add instruments and test out chords that possibly merge well with their words, and then collaborate together to find the right balance and harmony for their songs as they edit lyrics and finalize the arc of their work. The Showcase is an opportunity for them to share their work and each year proves to be a memorable occasion for both the audience and performers.

***In order for Frontier to accommodate your dinner reservations, we strongly encourage that they are made in advance. All reservation requests will be accounted for in the order in which they are received. Frontier takes a limited amount of customers per hour and we do not service inside our theater/gallery. Beverages and concessions may be purchased at the box office or bar and brought into the theater (not the gallery) before the show begins.***
