First With Durst Comedy Contest
Scott Hansen's Comedy Gallery Premier and Moe's restaurant are proud to present First With Durst, a comedy contest to be the opening act for world famous political comedian and satirist Will Durst.
Will Durst has been featured on HBO, Showtime, and Comedy Central and has over 800 national television credits. He has been nominated for 7 Emmy Awards and is a commentator on CNN and Air America.
The contest will have two preliminary rounds on October 4, 2012 and October 11, 2012 and a Finals Round on October 18, 2012. Show time is at 8:30PM
Performing in the contest will be comedians Bob DeMaris, Pete Borchers, Colleen Kruse, John Kunik, Woody Acre, Carol Vnuk, Margret Blaylock, Brad Cruise, Scott Kadrlik, Karen Pickering, Joe Lovett, Kurt Loucks, and Josh Florhaug.

The preliminary rounds will give up to 10 comedians the opportunity to perform 10 minutes of their best political and topical humor for a chance to advance to the Finals Round. The first place winner of each Preliminary round will win $100.00 The top three performers of each Preliminary Round will advance to the Finals.
