KIRTAN CAMP INTENSIVE WORHSHOP
Kirtan Camp intends to empower you to participate fully in kirtan. Our dedicated and knowledgeable teachers focus on the individual and help remove any obstacles that may be in the way of singing from the heart. Kirtan Camp meets once a month for an intensive and every Thursday night for ongoing practice and discussion. Progressive new melodies are introduced each month and participants are encouraged to share kirtan with others. Depending on your desire you may find yourself in front of a few hundred people at the monthly 6-Hour Kirtan or chanting quietly in the comfort of your own room.
What's in a class? Depends on the participants. We tailor each session to the participants and level of expertise from beginner to advanced.
Generally you will learn how to: Play a melody on the harmonium Play the Kartals and Mrdanga (drum) Chant with deeper feeling and much much more.!

What is my investment? For the intensive worksops $50 and your time and attention Bring Cash, Check, or CC to class or purchase (Work-study/seva exchange also available)
Do I need to bring anything else? Instruments are provided. If you have a harmonium or kartals, please bring them along.
