Sunday Share "Herbs de Provence"
The Sunday Share gatherings at Ecco are served family-style around our communal "farm" tables. Each dinner has a theme and is specially prepared for that night only.
The price is only $35/person (including tax and service fee; excluding alcohol and gratuity).
September's theme is "Herbs de Provence." This special mixture of dried herbs are used to flavour grilled foods such as fish and meat, as well as vegetable stews. The mixture can be added to foods before or during cooking or mixed with cooking oil prior to cooking so as to infuse the flavour into the cooked food.
FIRST COURSE Green lentils with apples, fennel, thyme, poached squid Nicoise salad Charred octopus with lemon oil and rosemary Sardines with grapes, capers and marjoram
SECOND COURSE Tagliatelle with red pistou Gnocchi with Georgia shrimp, artichokes and thyme Lingcod Provencale Whole roasted black bass, olives, lemon, oregano Wood grilled lamb sausage, cous cous, harissa and basil
THIRD COURSE Apple tart with caramelized fennel
