Ionesco's absurdist drama RHINOCEROS gets the 7th House treatment in an intimate, urgent production directed by Lauren Keating and featuring a versatile cast of seven Twin Cities actors. When the citizens of an unnamed city begin turning into rhinoceroses one by one, the lone survivor must face questions of free will and mass hysteria. Written in response to the rise of Fascism in post-war Europe, Rhinoceros remains a vital and timely piece of theater worth revisiting in our current political climate.
