Juanito Pascual in Concert
A respected voice in this most Spanish of musical genres, flamenco guitarist Juanito Pascual returns to the ballroom at the Center for the Arts. His concert features Barbara Martinez, flamenco singer/dancer. Juanito is internationally recognized as a unique and creative talent with mesmerizing virtuosity, evocative playing, and original compositional style. He has been a featured artist at the Tanglewood Jazz Festival, at New York's 92nd St. Y and Blue Note Jazz Club, and on National Public Radio's "The World." Critics call him "one of the hottest flamenco guitarists to emerge in recent years." He arrives in Northampton fresh from a summer in Spain and an 11-day stint with Garrison Keillor on this year's Prairie Home Companion Cruise
