Silicon Valley Roller Girls Burlesque Show

South Bay's official women's flat track roller derby league, the Silicon Valley Roller Girls, are bringing live burlesque to Downtown Britannia Arms. Doors open at 8 pm, with three live bands, professional burlesque dancers from around the Bay Area, and circus side-shows, including aerial artists, contortionists, and poi (fire) dancers. Derby girls will also be in full attendance, raising money for their 2013 season with burly (short for burlesque) dances, merchandise for sale, and a raffle filled with fabulous prizes. To put you in the Halloween or Samhain mood, we'll have gobs of zombies, vampires, and other monsters of the underworld floating around, ready to scare up some fun. Wear your most terrifying Halloween costume to win prizes like tickets to SVRG's last bout of the season (Oct. 20,) swag bags, or the grand prize getaway for two to a surprise Northern California destination.
