Rain Water Collection 101 Workshop
Dan Borbahas been making rain barrels since1999 and when hebegan to realize the unbelievable amount of water coming offa roof(one inch of rainfalling on a 1,200 square foot roof is equal to over 600 gallons of water) he wanted totell people about it.Since then he's soldover 4,000 rain barrels, mostly in western Washington, and in the last few years as interest has increasedhas begun teaching classes on how to assemble, install and generally use a rain barrel.He likes to think of hissmall business not in terms of maximizing profit butas a way to serve the community and help others to see the abundance of nature. Harvesting the rain is easy and fun and does not require expert help.
