Mt. Diablo Peace & Justice Center's Annual Peace Awards Dinner - 2012
Join us in recognizing the efforts of Congresswoman Barbara Lee in promoting peace and social justice. The Congresswoman will be accepting a Peacemaker of the Decade award for her stances against U.S. military confrontation during this past decade.
Attendees to this fundraising community event will enjoy a full-course catered gourmet dinner, music, an art exhibit and a raffle.
Proceeds will support the ongoing work of the Mt. Diablo Peace & Justice Center, a 40+ year-old organization based in Contra Costa County, committed to promoting peace and social justice, focused on education and action.
