1st Friday | Ceili mor, Community Irish Dance
Pay at the door - First Friday Irish Music & Dance Céilí Mór, October 5, 2012, Celebrating our 6th year here for you! Today, Friday, October 5, 2012, 7:30pm lesson, dance to live music from 8 until 11pm. At the Winona Grange, 8340 SW Seneca Street, Tualatin, OR 97062. Music by world known special guests, Isaac Alderson on pipes and flute and Jackie Moran on bodhran of the world touring band, COMAS will be sitting in with Seamus Egan on tenor banjo, Johnny Connolly on button box and Cary Novotny on guitar with little ol me calling. Eat your wheaties because you will need your energy between the fast, furious tempo and choice of dances.
Notes: All community - repeats every month, October -- May. Cost: (All ages 8 and older and you mind your children so everyone has a great time), $10, $8 for students, seniors 65+ and veterans. Everyone is encouraged to dance a jig!

Ceili is the Gaelic word for gathering. Today we look at it as dance, but we promote tradition!
Lesson at 7:30pm followed by live music with Seamus Egan, Johnny 'Box' Connolly and Cary Novotny until 11pm. About half way through the evening, we stop for a "tea" break (Irish tradition).
