Live Music Movement Foundation presents a Musical Experience Salon: A Conversation with Jazz Treasure Garnett Brown
Live Music Movement Foundation presents its first Musical Experience Salon featuring composer, arranger, and award winning trombonist Garnett Brown.
Garnett will discuss his vast musical legacy that began in Memphis, spending time in New York as a top call musician, and eventually settling in Los Angeles.
Leslie Drayton and Keith Fiddmont will moderate this informal and educational salon. All ages are welcome.
(Live Music Movement Foundation's vision is to broaden the enjoyment and appreciation of jazz, blues and soul music as a powerful American cultural force. One component to accomplishing this goal is to present musical experience salons where guests can explore and discover the history and significance of the music and the artists creating the music in an interactive manner. We do not want to create the perception of a lecture on music but would like for the music to come alive through experiencing it as a living history.)
