HOT Jazz for a COOL afternoon!
The Rockland Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music concert series is proud to present a wonderful jazz concert, featuring the Bill Crow Jazz Quartet!
Bill Crow, premier jazz bassist, has played and recorded with many luminaries of the jazz world. The list of great musicians include: Stan Getz, Gerry Mulligan, Benny Goodman, Al Haig, Marian McPartland, Al Cohn, Zoot Sims, Bob Brookmeyer, Clark Terry, Roger Kellaway, Quincy Jones and Eddie Condon.
The concert promises to provide an exciting afternoon of music!
In addition to being a great musician, Bill is also an author. Jazz fans fascinated by the personal background of the genre, will find Bill Crow's book: "Jazz Anecdotes", an engrossing read. Published in 1991 by Oxford University Press, the book is collection of humorous stories about the life of musicians!
