Astoria Q-Film Weekend Saturday Oct 6 Matinee Screening
A gay/lesbian/queer film event in Astoria, OR. presented by QFolk the GLBT news and events section in HIPFiSHmonthly, an alternative newspaper serving the Columbia Pacific Region. The film weekend features a diverse selection of over 12 fresh films by indie film makers, from DIY to big studio; documentary to comedy to sci-fi, and music video. The film weekend includes two west coast premiers, The Marble Faun of Grey Gardens and SALTWATER.
Astoria Q-Film Weekend comprises a Friday and Saturday night screening, and a Saturday matinee. Each screening presents new films. Tickets are $15 for each screening. A package for the all three screenings is available at $40. This option has been extended through to the weekend.
Doors open half hour before the event. Enjoy a no-host bar and cabaret table seating, and complimentary intermission snacks. Q-Film Dance party follows after the last screening on Saturday Night.
