Moonlight and Magnolias by Ron Hutchinson
Dramatic License Productions, offering professional theatre and cabaret in the intimate 85-seat Dramatic License Theatre in Chesterfield Mall, presents Ron Hutchinson's hilarious romp through 1930's Hollywood.
The filming of Margaret Mitchell's classic novel, Gone with the Wind is not going well. What's a hot-shot young producer to do? David O. Selznick locks himself, director Victor Fleming and writer Ben Hecht in his office, for a week-long screenplay re-write session. The only problem The writer hasn't read the book! Audiences will howl with laughter at this "nearly-true" story of how one of Hollywood's most famous classics finally made it to the silver screen. Directed by Jason Cannon.
