Shanan Custer and Emily Schmidt have some thoughts. Specifically, about things. Like, how does Starbucks know to discontinue the one breakfast sandwich I like? And why are we taking sexy Snapchats as animals? Oof, and let's not forget about the social chaos that is Valentine's Day. They present to you their well-cultivated grievances as funny sketches alongside other delightful business that will make you laugh and say "yes!" out loud. Shanan and Emily may not be your "fun" friends, but they'll tell you when you have food on your face, and that's worth more than a 2 a.m. primetime Uber ride any day.
Shanan Custer is a veteran of the Brave New Workshop (where she performed from the reign of Jesse Ventura to the Bush and Kerry election). A writer, actor, director, as well as an improviser, Shanans original work includes: 2 Sugars, Room for Cream (Ivey Award for Best Ensemble in 2013) and Sometimes There's Wine (with Carolyn Pool), and Mick Sterling Presents: At Christmas (with Jim Robinson). Shanan has performed with Park Square Theatre, History Theatre, Frank Theater, Theatre Pro Rata, Comedy Suitcase, Mu Performing Arts and The Mystery Café.
