Were back at ya with more chill vibes and fun times at our second annual WINTER EDITION of Queers & Beers!
With snow under our feet and frost in the air were saying see ya in the spring to our beloved parking-lot patio, and for the first time ever gonna be moving the seasonal party to a new location!!!
Queers & Beers is SO excited to announce that our winter shindig is moving across the street to THE AMERICAN! So shake off that snow and join us for what is quickly becoming East Vans favourite hang out party! Come on down for a thirst-quenching afternoon of meeting new folks, catching up with old friends and warming up with nice frothy pint of the best damn beer (or cider) around.

Queers & Beers is an event is being held on unceded Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish peoples. This includes the territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh-ulh, Stó:lo & Tsleil-Waututh nations. In recognition of this, and of the historical and ongoing genocide against the Indigenous Peoples of this land, we (settlers/occupiers) will be donating a portion of profits from each event to an Indigenous Self-Determination work. For this event, we'll be donating to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.
ACCESSIBILITY INFO: The American is a ground level building with no steps at the entrance and has an accessible washroom, we will be conducting a full accessibility audit shortly and will have info posted no later than January 8th.
Considering the nature of the venue, a bar which holds multiple events, we are sorry to say we are unable to offer a scent-reduced space at this time.
