Mecklenburg Grand Rounds:Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive disorders are common, with anxiety disorders being the most common psychiatric illness group in society. This Grand Rounds will review statistical, diagnostic, and treatment related issues of anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders, focusing primarily upon panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Updates to DSM5 criteria and advances in therapeutics will be discussed in detail. Leading the discussion will be Medical Director Keith McCoy, MD FAPA.
