ONE VOICE starring BETHANY OWEN
- Her last performance at the Arthur Newman Theater in August was nothing less than an overwhelming success and generated immediate audience buzz. It was the multitalented impressionist Bethany Owen direct from Las Vegas, who blew them away when she captured the voice, look, and mannerisms of some of the biggest female stars from the world of music, film, and television. Her comedic timing and her use of dozens of quick costume changes done during stage black outs, captured the likenesses of icons such as Cher, Madonna, Tina Turner, Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Connie Francis, Patsy Cline, Minnie Pearl, Liza Minnelli, Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, and Joan Rivers and that's naming only a few.
Her use of, and interaction with audience members had people grabbing cell phones to take pictures and videos so they could show their friends. But it was their calls and emails to the show's presenter, Les Michaels, insisting she return so they can bring those friends in person, that you have to thank for this second chance to see Ms. Owens. Don't miss it this time as Bethany has many commitments and may not be returning anytime soon.
For this special performance Bethany Owen in "One Voice" will be presented for one show only at a special time and date, Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 7 PM in the Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert.
