School of Rock Seattle performs 60's and 70's Garage Rock
School of Rock is the premier performance-based rock music program. Students receive 45 minute private lessons on the instrument of the their choice (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards or vocals). Students also participate in weekly 3 hour supervised rehearsals to prepare them for the main event, THE SHOW!
We find that the combination of private lessons and group band practice with their peers is the best way to motivate kids to practice hard, overcome stage fright, and become amazing musicians.
This show presents our students performing the best of 60's and 70's Garage Rock featuring songs from artists such as Iggy and the Stooges, The Trashmen, The Kingsmen, and the Sonics - among others!
