Two years ago, Savage Umbrella started a new experiment called SPACE. Seed funding for the adventure was made possible through winning a $20,000 Golden Ticket from GiveMN.org and The Bush Foundation on Give to the Max Day in November 2014. Since opening, SPACE has been home to over 50 artists and companies totaling over 1,700 hours of art-making, not including countless hours of Savage Umbrella workshops, productions, rehearsals, and parties.
As of January 31, we'll return to our nomadic roots with with stronger vision, deeper connections, and continued commitment to creating new work that inspires critical conversation.
Tickets are pick your own price on a sliding scale of $5 - $50
All proceeds support bold, vital new works of theater.
