"Broadway Songs We Love To Sing"
NYC actors Michael Pizzi and best friend Jennie Berkson offer an evening of Broadway, singing some of their favorite Broadway songs. Sit back and enjoy songs from "West Side Story", "Man of La Mancha", Into the Woods", "Ragtime", "My Fair Lady", "A Little Night Music" and many more.
Jennie hails from New York where shes had the pleasure of performing alongside Michael as Aldonza to his Sancho in Man of La Mancha as well as their NYC Cabaret, Human Cravings. Favorite roles include Mother in Ragtime , Anna in The King and I, Maria in The Sound of Music, Penny Pennywise in Urinetown, the Musical, The Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd, Meredith in Bat Boy. She teaches music and acting classes and has appeared Off-Broadway and in regional productions in musical and dramatic roles from coast-to-coast. Jennie extends a warm thank you to Michael for this opportunity to be a part of his vision and efforts to touch many.
MICHAEL PIZZI has been performing since age 6 when
he sang Edelweiss in his 1st grade concert. He received
his Equity card from Goodspeed Opera House playing
Lewis Morris, delegate from NY, in 1776. Other roles
included Fezziweg in A Christmas Carol (Fords Theatre),
Pirate/Smee u/s in Peter Pan (North Carolina Theatre),
Judge Turpin & Pirelli in two different Sweeney Todds,
Peter & Judas in two different Jesus Christ Superstars &
three times the privilege of playing Sancho Panza in Man
of La Mancha (his favorite musical). He enjoys singing
in cabaret style which allows him the chance to sing some of his favorite songs
of characters he will never be able to play !! Currently, he is producing cabaret
