Two ensembles, Jr and Sr, unite to mount a Broadway-style musical. 10 Weeks!

More than 60 million people around the world have come to discover the thrill, the majesty, the truly one-of-a-kind musical that is The Lion King! Mixing African culture and dance in a Shakespearean story line, each performer will experience the challenge and sheer joy of one of the most inspiring musicals of our time.

Both ensembles will practice on their own, guaranteeing attention paid to the needs of both groups. Leads will be cast from both ensembles. The parallel classes will merge just before tech week. Due to the price of rights, royalties, the extended rehearsal process, and production, cost to either ensemble is $250.00.

Ages 5 -9

Weeks: 10

Time: 12:30-2pm

Day: Mondays and some Wednesdays for Large Roles (Wednesday 10-12 EDGE Central)

Start and End Date: 1/9 -3/8 rehearsals

Location: Pendulum Space in North Center (1803 W Byron St #216, Chicago, IL 60613)
