Poetry Cabaret: Asheville Fringe Edition 2
Poetry Cabaret combines poets performing with live musical accompaniment, burlesque, comedy, fire eating, and magic for an experimental poetry reading in true cabaret style. A wild yet intelligent party, the show explores themes of Bacchanalia and erotic expression while not shying away from those of resistance and social justiceto implore, to entertain, to find catharsis in art, and to create real conversation.
