Farm-to-Table, A Dinner in the Vineyard

Join Slow Food Katy Trail for our third annual "A Dinner in the Vineyard" event. We will start with a tour of the vineyards, and then gather around the table to feast on six fabulous courses. This is a tribute to some of our best local farmers and food artisans--all of whom will be dining with us. It also is Slow Food Katy Trail's most important fundraiser for our "Harvest-of-the-Month" (Slow Food-in-Schools) program and other educational projects.

Delectable local products will be prepared by five of Columbia's best chefs: Craig Cyr (The Wine Cellar & Bistro), Brook Harlan (Columbia Area Career Center Culinary Arts program), Mike Odette (Sycamore), Ben Parks (44 Stone) and Aaron Wells-Morgan (Les Bourgeois Blufftop Bistro). These chefs will create a dining experience that will showcase the best efforts of our local farmers and producers. All will be enjoyed with wine from Les Bourgeois, beer from Broadway Brewery and live jazz from the John G. Stewart trio.

Join Slow Food Katy Trail, other food enthusiasts, the chefs, farmers, artisans and musicians for a truly unforgettable event in the county's most spectacular venue.

Ticket purchases are non-refundable and will be considered a much-appreciated donation to Slow Food Katy Trail's educational projects.

Directions to Les Bourgeois Tobacco Barn:

For the 3 p.m. vineyard tour and dinner at 4 p.m., we will meet at the Tobacco Barn.
Exit I-70 at the Rocheport Exit and go south. Head south on Roby Farm Road, take a left on Sinking Creek Road, and take first left into the farm. Follow lane back to Tobacco Barn. Parking will be in nearby field.
