Pat & Charlie were budding Hollywood sweethearts, on their way to true stardom, when fate took a turn. After getting kidnapped by their nanny and inducted into a cult, Charlie shortly thereafter married their gay talent manager and Pat got hooked on "disco biscuits." But after Pat cleaned up her act and Charlie divorced her "confirmed bachelor" husband, she and Charlie realized that what they had was too good to be true and reunite for their new hit show, the Pat and Charlie Variety Hour.
