AIAOC ADA / Accessibility Program
Are you looking for a program to meet the California Architects Board ADA course requirement? AIAOC is offering you an opportunity to earn 2.0 qualifying units for your 2017 license renewal.
This ADA/Accessibility Q/A program will focus on specific questions and issues raised by attendees. Attendees will prepare their requests in advance of the meeting allowing the presenter to research and respond during the program. Attendees will also learn about the impact of new ADA code revisions and review ADA design at the program location.
Learning Objectives:
1.Attendees will learn about ADA regulations related to their own projects.
2.Attendees will discuss various ADA compliance issues.
3.Attendees will learn about new ADA code changes.
4.Overview of compliance issues Specific Questions and Answers.

Speakers Bio: Ms. Afshar is an AIA member architect with 30 years of experience in commercial and public facilities, with a focus on interior architecture and accessibility. She has been involved with Access related work since 1991. Ms. Afshar is also CID, LEED AP and CASp certified.
