Gold Future: Au Collective Hosts New Year's Eve
Are you ready to finally say goodbye to 2016?
So are we. Thats why Au Collective is hosting a New Years Eve party on Capitol Hill!

This year, our communities have seen some pretty tough times, but we have also seen ourselves grow, dream, create, and thrive.

With this party, we are reclaiming and creating an intentional space for people of color, queer people, and women to celebrate our collective resilience. We are celebrating our continued existence in a world that often undervalues us.

Our work has never been easy, and its about to get even harder come 2017. Thats also why were throwing this party: to raise funds to continue supporting and making dance accessible to people of color, women, and queer people.

THE EVENT:
- Held at the NEW Studio Current location (1100 E Pike Street, under Annex Theater)
- Live DJs spinning music on the 1s and 2s (DJs to be announced soon!)
- Two different sets of performances by Au Collective and special guests.
- LOTS of dancing.
- Proceeds will go to making our May 2017 performance and workshop series happen. These include (but are not limited to): Rehearsal space, artist insurance, transportation stipend, paying our artists, holding a free matinee for youth, and renting space for both youth dance workshops as well as community anti-oppression workshops.
- Lots of beautiful people looking FLY.

TICKETS:
- Get your tickets early! >> augoldfuture.bpt.me
- Prices begin at $10 and will increase as we get closer to the date.
- There will be NO tickets sold at the door.

GUEST LIST RULES:
This is an RSVP-only event. Please invite friends and members of your community but make sure they reserve their spot by buying tickets ahead of time or there's no guarantee they can get in. In the interest of keeping this space safe and within Studio Current capacity, the doors will not be open to the general Pike/Pine un-ticketed foot traffic the night of the party.

ACCESSIBILITY:
There is a flight of stairs (more than 10 steps) leading down to Studio Current

This party will center people of color, queer people, and women. There is a NO TOLERANCE policy for racism, homophobia, Islamophobia, xenophobia, sexism, ableism, or any form of bigotry. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you make anyone feel unsafe.

Unable to make it?
We are now an official 501(c)3 organization, that means any donations is tax-deductible!
