Tattooine Cantina (Sons of Norway Lodge)
The event is hosted by Menage a Trois Vodkas, and houses the games and goings at the Tattooine Sexathalon. Refreshments also provided by Valholl Brewing and Bushel & Barrel Ciders, souvenier crafts from Blue Heron Jewelers, and other craft vendors from the Outer Rim (Poulsbo), all purchased with Galactic Creditsour Cantinas currency. At the door, entry is one galactic credit ($3.50 value), but free for kids 6 and under. Valholl Brewing will also be featuring their non-alcoholic root beer!
This, being the fourth year of the festival, will be the greatest fun yet for this outrageous party in Historic Downtown Poulsbo (hence our tagline "May the Fourth Be With You!") In a time of Imperial entaglements and civil unrest, a weekend visit to Poulsbo will lighten the mood, refresh your spirits (literally) and give you many fun memories for eons to come. On this particular weekend, Poulsbo a Nordic village on the fictional Tattooine planet. Unlike the rest of the drought stricken extraterrestrial, Poulsbo is rather moist, cool in nature, and is destination to many oddly placed characters of all planetary types. If you are hoping for something sensical, change your mind! From Indoor Blue Angels aerial presentations, to planetary beverages that can make entire spaceships disappear, this years event is guaranteed to please!
The Cantina will be set up inside the Sons of Norway Hall, and is hosted by Menage a Trois Vodkas and Wines. In classic Star Wars Cantina style, this outpost on the outer Rim trade route is a great place to re-group and get out of the weather (or escape the barrage of the ongoing war with the Empire forces) Show your galactically sought after skills of the Tatooine Sexathalon, featuring traditional planetary regulars: paddle-pong, flushleboard, giant Jenga, Sarlaccs snack, strong ale mug lift, and Feel the Force. Valholl Brewing, Bushel & Barrel Ciders, and Menage a Trois will be serving refreshments. Rebel Legion and Imperial Force fighters may be spotted, perfect photo opp for the day! Winners of the games will receive prizes collected from within the trade route, and awards for Gloggfest Competition, Poker Run and the Trade Rim Scavenger Hunt will be on stage at 3pm. Cantina closes at 4pm. Get your Entry Pack here, which includes entry and 3 Galactic credits at the discounted rate of $10 (when purchased in advance through brown paper tickets).
Events around town during the day will be the Poker Run, Scavenger Hunt, Gloggfest competition and Artwalk. These events are free to play or enjoy (although awards or prizes for these will be on stage in the Cantina a 3pm).
