ChiWIP's Second Annual Post-Holiday Progressive Networking Dinner
Last year's Post-Holiday Progressive Networking Dinner brought together over 100 people from a wide array of backgrounds, including private and public corporations, academia, and law firms, to engage in dialogue and to build relationships with one another.
Haven't been to a progressive dinner before? Here's how it goes. You don't sit with the people you came with or just mingle with people you already know. Instead, each participant will receive three table assignments--one for each course. At the end of the first course, you switch to your second table for the entree. Same thing happens for dessert. The table assignments are strategically assigned to try and ensure that you meet new faces. Moderators are provided with table topics to help break the ice and lead the conversation. At the end of the night, the result should be that you met a ton of great new people, and hopefully learned something useful for your practice along the way.
We look forward to another successful progressive networking dinner this year!
