Spend the afternoon getting to know Christensens Farm a little better.
Our workshop will include a hike through the pasture to check on the cows, grooming the ponies, collecting eggs out at the chicken trucks, and going into the garden to do some veggie picking. We will wash up some of the veggies for you to take home and finish with delicious farm fresh snack and cold drink. Children of all ages are welcome with a ticketed adult and their own ticket (for the child).
Please wear farm appropriate clothing and shoes since you may get dirty. Farm boots and gloves may come in handy.
Workshop fee includes some produce that you can take home with you.
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
About Christensen Farm
A family farm with three generations playing in the dirt and raising healthy and wholesome vegetables and chickens for eggs. This farm is a certified-organic Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) operation.
CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS. SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the workshop.
