Join us at Jimtown Store's Event Center with Chef Peter Brown and owner, Carrie Brown. This jaunt to the countryside of Healdsburg will be a great daytime event for Worth Our Weight supporters. Their backgrounds are as impressive as their cuisine!
Carrie Brown owns the landmark Jimtown Store, located in Sonoma Countys Alexander Valley, celebrated for its lusty country cooking and reinterpreted American desserts. Carries unique style and recipes have been featured in countless publications including Country Home, House & Garden, Food & Wine, and Sunset, and on televisions Martha Stewart Living and Food TVs Ultimate Kitchen.
Chef Peter Brown started cooking in his hometown of Honolulu at the age of 16. He attended the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York City and interned at famed Hawaii chef Roy Yamaguchis restaurant in Manhattan. After New York, he came to California wine country, at Santi Restaurant, Geyserville. He returned to Hawaii and worked at LUraku restaurant. Peter returned to Healdsburg to immerse himself once again in the copious bounty of wine and ingredients in Sonoma county, becoming the chef at the Jimtown Store.
