In a remote cabin in the wilds of Alaska, a lone man sleeps in the shadows as a blizzard rages outside. The insistent knocking of an unexpected visitor breaks the night. A distraught young bride bursts in, exhausted. Two refugees from so-called civilization, thrown together in the confines of a snowbound cabin, free to explore the pain of the past and, in time, consider the possibilities of the present. This wildly compelling allegory uses fantastic and often outlandish situations and characterizations to probe into the nature of modern relationships.
