Torrey Pines

Based on a true story, Torrey Pines is a queer punk coming-of-age tale that takes place in Southern California in the early 1990's. 12-year-old Petersen is taken on a cross-country jaunt by his schizophrenic single mother (who is fueled by hallucinations of political conspiracy), and on the adventure Petersen's life story unfolds in a series of baffling events, both real and imagined.
