Introduction to Animal Tracks and Signs
Learn the basics of tracking from Mallory Clarke, a Wilderness Awareness School Tracking Intensive graduate and leader with the Cascade Citizens Wildlife Monitoring Project.
Well explore the beach at low-tide to decipher tales crisscrossing the sand. We will be looking for heron, deer, river otter, mouse and raccoon tracks. If were lucky, we could find coyote, cougar or black bear.
Learn to decode who walks the beach while you sleepand what these tracks andsigns can teach us about the habits of our wild neighbors.
