Sage Rendezvous "Wanderlust II" featuring Concertmaster Denise Dillenbeck
Gathered from across the country, the Goodenberger/Dillenbeck family and friends are converging for their second annual concert as Sage Rendezvous. Yakima Symphony Concertmaster Denise Dillenbeck and Percussionist Mark Goodenberger are familiar to Yakima audiences as DuoDG, and vocalists Noelle and Sophia Goodenberger brought delight to audiences last season. This year, their friend JJ Penna will be joining them. JJ is one of the worlds foremost collaborative pianists, playing for such eminent singers as Kathleen Battle, Harolyn Blackwell, Denyce Graves, and many more, in recitals at the countrys top recital halls in Washington, D.C., New York City, Boston, San Francisco, as well as Mexico City, London, and across Asia, South America and the former Soviet Union. This Wanderlust II" concert explores music of longing and adventure, drawing on the sounds of composers and songs from France, Greece, Spain and more.
