Landscape Drawing Series: Drawing the Huntington
Saturdays, February 11 - March 18, 2017 9 a.m. -12 p.m
Artist, architectural illustrator and author Richard E. Scott will conduct this six part series, drawing the art, architecture, and gardens of the Huntington. This series is perfect for artists (plein air and studio painters), architects, designers, urban sketchers, students, hobbyists, and beginners. Students will improve drawing skills, develop better visual perception, and enrich their visual experience. For repeating students, individual lesson plans will be customized to meet each student's learning goals. Members: $280. Non Members: $295.
Class is held in Steven's Classroom. Please check in with Huntington staff in the Banta Education Center.
A suggested supply list is below. Please bring to each day of class. (Note: the tools below are NOT required. All you need is a pencil, eraser, and sketchbook. The list below reflects the Instructor's own drawing kit.)
Pencil - Pentel Graphgear 500 / 0.9 size graphite - filled with 0.9 2B graphite refills
Small blending stump - any brand
Thin retractable eraser - Tombow Mono Zero
Kneaded eraser - any brand
Battery operated eraser - Sakura (or any other brand is fine)
Pen (black) - Pentel Stylo Pen Pen (black) - Pentel Arts Hybrid Technica 0.6 ml Pen (black) - Pentel Arts Hybrid Technica 0.3 ml
