Mike Farris & The Roseland Rhythm Revue
In music there are those special artists that seem to transcend genre and defy categorization. From time to time one hears a voice that can stop you dead in your tracks and shake your very foundation to the core. Mike Farris is that artist and he has that voice. The Winchester native is looking forward to performing in his hometown on Saturday, October 13 as part of a fundraiser for Operation Noel. The event will be held at the Franklin County High School auditorium in Winchester.
Tickets for the event are $20. Tickets may be purchased at The Herald-Chronicle; The Oasis Steakhouse (Winchester), Simple Expressions Florist (Decherd), Cricket's Lil Cottage (Belvidere), or online at brownpapertickets.com Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with entertainment beginning at 7:00 p.m. For more info call (931) 967-2272 or (931) 962-1445. Operation Noel is a program that has assisted needy children in Franklin County during the Christmas Season for over twenty-five years.
