Join three Madison-based food bloggers for an afternoon of photography and food-styling. After a quick farm tour, guests will gather on the back deck for a grilled pizza demonstration. Attendees will take turns creating their own grilled pizza while Lauren of The Leek & The Carrot, Vicky of Things I Made Today and Sarah of Wisconsin From Scratch give hands-on lessons in photography, composition, food styling, plating, lighting and editing. Bring your cameras (iPhone or DSLR recommended) and your appetite! Kids 18 and under are welcome to attend for free, but will not be given any instruction.
Note: Participants should bring their own cameras. This is a very introductory level course and basic cameras will work just fine! Lauren shoots predominantly with an iPhone for her farm and blog.
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
