Muddy River Revue #2

The Baton Rouge Blues Foundation and Baton Rouge Blues Festival presents the second installment of the Muddy River Revue series at Dyson House Listening Room, December 10th at 7:00 p.m. With our goal of continuing to preserve and promote the Swamp Blues culture inherent to our part of Louisiana, we have invited a number of local musicians and groups to perform legendary Swamp Blues musician's songs within their own style and interpretation of the songs. It is strongly encouraged that these performers are not merely musicians/bands "covering" these songs, but to perform these songs as they interpret them collectively. The second installment will honor swamp blues legend Lightnin Slim.

We're happy to announce the following musicians/groups will be performing at our first installment.

Minos the Saint
Alabaster Stag
Will Vance & the Kinfolk
Molly Taylor

There will be a suggested donation at the door with all proceeds going to the Baton Rouge Blues Foundation and Baton Rouge Blues Festival.
