Starhouse New Years Eve Dance Celebration 2016

This alternative to the more typical rowdy, drinking festivities around New Years offers a five hour immersion into participatory singing,dance and live music interspersed with community ceremonies of remembrance and artistic offerings.
The mountain temple, known as the Starhouse provides the perfect container for spirited celebration coupled with thoughtful refection. Timothy Dobson, master of ceremony, leads our journey with the musical support of John Rasmussen-flutes and woodwinds, Tim Skurdahl-accordian, Bill Burlage-drums and percussion, etc.
This event is geared for the experienced Peace Dancer and for those seeking a spiritual celebration of the New Year that is alcohol free. All dances are taught to concentric circles
of participants. No partner or experience needed. This New Years celebration has been hosted by Timothy at the Starhouse for the last 20 years and has a limited capacity of 99 people. Location: 3476 Sunshine Canyon, Boulder, CO. 80302 Cost: $25
