THE LUXURY
One of Music Connection Magazine's "Hot 100 Unsigned Acts", The Luxury's huge, driving sound and engaging, high-energy live show have earned them a spot on the CMJ top 200, shows with Coldplay, Idlewild, Santigold, Wheat, Ra Ra Riot and more, as well as multiple awards nominations, national press and radio play.
SPIRIT KID is the musical moniker of songwriter Emeen Zarookian, backed by members of Boston bands Babydriver and Bent Shapes. Started in the mid-2000s as a solo project, Spirit Kid was officially formed in 2010 with the release of his debut self-titled album on the RPL Audio imprint. The Boston based Indie-Pop band has since released a string of singles (7" and cassette) and an EP, supporting acts such as Eli "Paperboy" Reed, Zeus, Darwin Deez, and Here We Go Magic, throughout New England and down both coasts. The music has also seen several placements in film, TV, video games, and online videos.
ELLE BELLE
From psych rock to 80s flavored synth pop, LAs Elle Belle seems to have found his tune. In 2014, Elle Belle, the solo project of Christopher Pappas (formerly of Miracle Parade and The Everyday Visuals) was pushing out sounds that were more akin to 13th Floor Elevators meets Brian Jonestown Massacre. Now with the release of his tasty new single Failed Dreamz, Elle Belle has morphed into a more upbeat and anthemic direction that will have you dancing. Elle Belles Failed Dreamz sounds like a synth soaked marriage between David Bowie and The War On Drugs. Its vibrant, its fun and honestly, its catchy as f*ck.
While multi-instrumentalist Elle Belle is delivering more polished synth vibes as opposed to DIY manic tones, there are still some psych rock elements in his new music, which makes this new change all the more unique.
