B3 KINGS are a based band around the classic Hammond B3 organ trio playing soul, boogaloo, blues, funk, and rock. Influenced by Dr. Lonnie Smith, The Meters, Booker T. and the MGs, Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Jack McDuff, Billy Preston, The Beatles, and Rusty Bryant to name a few this is about a movin', groovin' good time out!

Although hes had a long and varied career backing vocalists, from the Matt Stubbs Band with Kit Holliday, which won the 2002 Battle of the Boston Blues Bands, to an almost decade-long association with blues legend Charlie Musselwhite, guitarist Matt Stubbs has always had an affinity for instrumental music. His last two albums have been in that style, although mainly blues-based, but his latest project ups the ante and tackles wider terrain. The new bands music is a lot more moody, still bluesy but also twangy, with some 1960s garage rock, even some jazz.
