Tea Party in Space!

Blast off with herbalist and astrologer Jaysen Paulson Hawthorne for a tasty exploration into the 7 classical planets through the sensation of taste, smell and experience. Samples of all planetary teas will be on-hand to taste and discuss the energy of the planets through plants. Great for those who want to understand the connection between earth and the cosmic realms, adding a new dimension to your understanding of the planetary archetypes or the plants that you know and love. Tea sampling passports will be on-hand to rank and discover your new favourite tea blend! This is a casual, fun and community enriching experience. Teas will also be available for purchase.

Jaysen Paulson is a Portland-based queer astrologer, herbalist and founder of the Portland School of Astrology. His work with Cosmophilia includes the marriage of astrology and herbal medicine with health and wellness, producing a line of Astrological Herbals, teas and sprays. JayPs work has been featured at astrology and plant medicine conferences, and the Portland Art Museum. He currently sees astrology clients in his Hollywood District office and is writing a book titled Plants & Planets: Herbal Medicine, Flower Essences and Astrology.
