AMPLIFY! Raising Women's Voices

Sound Theatre Company, the recent winner of 7 Gregory Awards including their second award for Theatre of the Year,  presents three plays written by women and directed by local women directors for their 2017 Season.   Please join us for an exciting season at the Center Theatre at Seattle Center Armory beginning with the world premiere production of "Nadeshiko."  With a purchase we will contact you to arrange for your dates.


Nadeshiko by Keiko Green
Directed by Kaytlin McIntyre
Presented in Collaboration with Seattle's Umbrella Project
- A world premiere from one of Seattle's preeminent theatre artists Keiko Green centers around the stories of two generations of Asian women who are reclaiming their power from idealized perceptions of beauty.


Hoodoo Love by Katori Hall
Director Malika Oyetimein
Presented in Collaboration with The Hansberry Project
- Seattle premiere of sensational young playwright Katori Hall's (The Mountaintop, Hurt Village) first play about Blues music and Black life in her native Memphis Tennessee during the 1930s.


Goblin Market by Polly Pen, Peggy Harmon, and Christine Rosetti
Directed by Teresa Thuman
A dark and atmospheric musical about two grown sisters in the Victorian age who revisit their sexually charged childhood fantasies in an imaginary world of seductive goblins.

All plays are recommended for mature audiences.   14 and up.  
$60 for a Three-Show Pass.
