Barrio Manouche
Barrio Manouches, Javier Jimenez guitarist/composer from Spain, and his incredibly skilled musicians,(Magali Sanscartier on violin, Alex Zelnick on rhythm guitar, Luis Jimenez on cajon,Cyrill Guiraud on saxophone and Scott Lindorfer on upright bass).will perform their own instrumental repertoire to take you on a magical journey.
The San Francisco based ensemble has been recognized for its surprise concerts, innovative style, complex technique, and their passion for theatrical and musical improvisation. For this event, a special appearance by local performers from the Bay Area will accompany the band with a collaboration with the Jimenez brothers and stories leading to inspiration and the process of creation through "La Vida de un Ruso''.
