Come on out to the farm to learn how rich soils and perennial grasses combine to create our wonderful meat. Enjoy a relaxing tour around the farm and then sit down with fellow farm supporters for a delicious dinner. Campfire to follow, weather permitting.
2:30 pm: Meet the trolley at Greenhouse Bed and Breakfast and join farmer Harry Carr for a tour of Mint Creek Farm. There will be plenty of time to visit all the animals living on the farm including cows, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep and goats.
Dinner: The farm tour will circle back to the B&B for dinner. Former Chilam Balam chef and Top Chef contender Chuy Valencia will be creating the dinner using Mint Creek Farm meats and produce from local farms. We will be posting the menu as we get closer to the dinner and we know what the farmers will have available. Bring your favorite bottle of wine to complement your dinner. Iced water with lemon and herbs will be included.
Campfire: After dinner we will head out to the little hill in the pasture for a relaxing evening around the fire.
Tickets are $65. Children under 12 are $25. Seating is limited.
